Hi. I’m Mandy Porter, a licensed psychologist based in Oregon. I work with adults navigating challenges in their lives including difficulties regulating their emotions and behaviors. I’m passionate about helping people feel more grounded, supported, and understood during life’s most challenging moments.
I know that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. You may be feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure of what comes next. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure or judgment, and begin to make sense of what you are going through.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and compassionate. I use my training in evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) while also tailoring our work to your unique needs. Together, we will look for patterns, increase understanding, and grow your skillset so you can build a life that is meaningful to you.
I also have a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing infertility. This journey can bring up grief, isolation, and uncertainty. You don’t have to go it alone. Therapy can be a place where you make sense of these emotions, strengthen your coping strategies, and find ways to care for yourself.
Outside of my work, I love trying new restaurants. I enjoy spending time outdoors including hiking with my partner, daughter, and dog. I also enjoy running which gives me a sense of accomplishment and balance.
